Metroguard utilizes a security system that is well known in the security industry and makes it an indispensable part of keeping its security guards accountable. Metroguard includes two complimentary supervisory visits per eight hour shift in their hourly rate to ensure that security guards are performing their duties according to their post orders.

The GuardScan system also known in the industry as Guard Tour or Detex consists of two different parts, the scanner, which looks like a flashlight and magnetic strips the size of a dollar coin. The magnetic strips will be installed at sensitive spots of the property and when scanned create a magnetic time print on the scanner’s database. When the field supervisor downloads the data from the scanner, he can instantly determine if the security guard has been patrolling the site frequently. With the ingenious GuardScan system and constant supervision the security of our client’s sites is not left to chance. Metroguard’s team ensures that the site is frequently patrolled and well-guarded.
