Is Metroguard licensed and insured?
Metroguard
is licensed to perform security services throughout the state of California and
maintains general liability insurance and workmens' Compensation policy that
exceeds the state of California's requirements. Upon request proof of insurance
and additional insurance certificates can be provided if the client’s company
policy asks for it.

What does "security consultation" mean?
Metroguard employs experienced and well educated security consultants. They
will create a free security plan for the client's facility and upon signing a
contract they will create customized post orders for the security officers
employed at the site.
How are Metroguard officers held accountable?
Metroguard employs field supervisors with decades of security experience.
With each contract Metroguard includes free supervisory visits. Field
supervisors ensure that security officers follow their post orders, provide
excellent customer service and adhere to Metroguard professionalism
requirements. They employ the GuardScan system to ensure that security officers
are frequently patrolling sensitive spots of the client's property.
How do I get a hold of my security company when I need them?
All security officers are supplied with a company issued phone, which makes
them available to the client during their work hours. Field supervisors will be
visiting sites daily and nightly and will be available to clients at all times.
Security consultants will be the direct contact for clients in case of any
questions or concerns. Responsiveness is a big advantage that metroguard clients
will enjoy. No 800- numbers or leaving messages. The people in charge, who can
help immediately are one phone call away.
How are Metroguard security officers trained?
Metroguard security officers are licensed by the State of California and
Metroguard partners with various guard schools to continuously enhance their
officer' skill sets. Additionally, most security officers are trained in first
aid and CPR. Metroguard provides a minimum of 60 hours of training for their
security officers every year.
What type of pre-employment screening does Metroguard use?
All of our officers are hand-picked and thoroughly screened in reference to
character, attitude and personal discipline in order to ensure that our
personnel are skilled and prepared for the requirements of any assignment.

- State Registration & Certification
- Personal Reference Check
- Criminal Court History
- Civil Court History
- Motor Vehicle Report (for possible patrol car drivers)
- Random Drug Testing
How will Metroguard accommodate Clients special requirements and

As part of our process, we spend much time getting to know each client's
location and needs. Metroguard is all about flexibility and tailoring our

What if someone Metroguard assigns to our facility does not work out?
We use rigorous screening and hiring procedures and work hard to understand
clients' needs. Our HR department translates this knowledge into staffing. If an
employee doesn't satisfy your requirements, we will replace that officer
immediately, no questions asked.
